Welcome to ooolook photography, I’m Jill! Thank you for taking an interest in booking a business branding session with me. Wether you are just starting out or have an established business already, it’s always a great time to build or add to your brand by having images you can use in all of your marketing materials. A session will consist of taking stock photographs of your work environment and materials as well as portraits. I look forward to getting to know you and your business!

My goal is to show the unique dynamic of your business and what makes you stand out. My approach is organic and lifestyle; I want you to be in a comfortable setting to be yourselves. But I can also offer extra direction if desired. I use natural lighting whenever possible, and book sessions anywhere in the Los Angeles area.

Booking and Payment

Sessions tend to be located indoors at your place of business, but I’m happy to move outdoors for portraits weather permitting.

Photo shoots occur on Saturdays and Sundays. Sessions occur in the morning usually, but I will determine available start times that provide the best natural lighting for your session based on your location and weather

I do not charge a travel fee for shoots in Los Angeles County. For shoots outside of LA, I will determine travel fees at the time of booking.

Business branding session packages include stock photography of your work environment and materials plus portraits of the owner. Additional employees can be added to the session as well. (Full session details listed below.) We will talk beforehand to discuss exactly what you are hoping to capture during our session together and the best steps to prepare.

Half the cost of the photography session is due when scheduling and reserves your date. I will also have you sign my standard contract and model release when booking. The remaining balance is due prior to receiving any digital files from the session. Payments can be made through my website.

You are purchasing edited and stylized digital files of your images only. I provide you with high and low resolution JPG files of the images from your session gallery as a digital download. You are obtaining digital files for personal and business use only, and may not sell prints. There is an additional fee if an article is published using images from our session together and credit must be given to ooolook photography (ooolook.net).

If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule the session please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. All deposits are nonrefundable. There is a rebooking fee, but I’d be happy to work with you on selecting a new date and time.

At the Session

Once we've arrived at our agreed upon location, I will spend a few minutes getting to know you and any additional employees a bit more before starting the shoot. This helps everyone feel more at ease.

It is extremely important to arrive to your session at least 10 minutes early. The sun doesn't wait, and I want the best light possible for your photos.

Your wardrobe should feel comfortable. Test out your outfit beforehand, and make sure it won’t lead to any tugging or pulling on while you move around during the session. Confidence is key when it comes to photo sessions, so it’s not the best time to try something completely new to you. Go for what you know, so that you’re not worried about how you look the entire session. Two outfits are included in your session, additional outfits can be added.

For any outdoor photographs, please avoid bringing anything more than you absolutely need. I am happy to hold keys and phones or other small items to keep pockets empty in your photographs. No sunglasses; they get in the way and risk being damaged if we’re trying to store them. I want you to be free of items so I can get the best photographs of you.

After Your Session

Within three weeks you will receive an email from me containing a link to a private online gallery of the photographs from your session. It will also provide the final payment information. After receiving final payment, you will be able to download the edited and stylized high resolution (200ppi) and web-optimized digital JPG files from your gallery.

I keep my edits minimal and do minor retouching and processing of photos in Adobe's Lightroom and Photoshop programs. This includes removing minor blemishes, doing color correction and minor skin smoothing, and adjusting clarity and vibrance. You may request additional retouching on your photos for a fee based on the work required.
